Pool colour combination. How does it work?
RENOLIT ALKORPLAN pool linig is supplied in rolls and it’s the pool builder or installer who cuts the reinforced membrane and welds it on site according to your pool dimensions and form.
This type of pool lining is thus custom-made. The customer can choose among different patterns and combine them as she or he wishes in order to create a unique swimming pool. Often the steps colour is different from the walls or the bottom colour. This way the steps are more visible and it makes the access to the pool easier.
Both RENOLIT ALKORPLAN TOUCH and CERAMICS are frequently used for this purpose because of their one-of-a-kind 2 mm thickness, slip resistance and 3D-effect. A particular way of pool colour combination is to line the steps 4 cm over the edge. That way it will look like natural stone.
Don’t put limits to your creativity! It’s a common practice in both wellness centers and modern bathrooms. If you also line the bottom of your pool with another pool liner colour you’ll create more depth.
Thanks to RENOLIT ALKORPLAN TOUCH you bring the natural stone effect from the surroundings into your pool and have also the advantage of using the robotic pool cleaner not that often.
There are hundreds of different pool colour combinations and there’s no accounting for taste. Nonetheless, there are a few points to take into account when choosing the colour of your pool lining.
Temperature
Darker colours absorb more heat. The water temperature between a lighter and a darker on site lining fluctuates between 1 to 2 degrees.
The pool water colour
Depending on the exposure to sun light and the depth, the pool water colour will be mainly determined by the colour of your pool lining: clear water, light blue shades, wild and mysterious pool water, turquoise water… And of course when combining different pool lining colours, you’ll obtain different pool water colours in the same pool.
House and garden
How does your house look like? And your garden? What kind of pool deck do you have? You have to take into consideration the surroundings when choosing the best colour for your pool.
